VMware vSphere 7.0 has been released with a lot of new exciting features. With every release of vSphere, VMware introduces a lot of new features along with the removal of some old features to simplify the virtual environment management and also for other perspectives such as reducing administrative burden, improved security, reduced cost, and also to adapt to the latest core technologies.

vSphere 7 delivers essential services for the modern hybrid cloud. It powers the computing environment for modern applications, AI/ML, and business-critical applications. Applications can be deployed using any combination of virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes. The headline news is that vSphere now has native support for Kubernetes, so you can run containers and virtual machines on the same platform, with a simple upgrade of the system that you’ve currently standardized on and adopting VMware Cloud Foundation. Along with new exciting features, There are few features that are deprecated and removed from vSphere 7.0.

In this video, I have talked about the Top 7 features which will be missed from VMware vSphere 7.0.  I picked the top 7 features which were favorites for most of us in the previous version of vSphere but which is no longer available in vSphere 7.0.

I have talked about the 7 features which will be missed from vSphere 7.0 and along with the replaced feature or alternate feature which is released with vSphere 7.0. It is always a win-win scenario here. We will not lose anything by missing these 7 features but we gain more advanced features as the replacement of these 7 deprecated features.

I have also explained how we migrate or upgrade to advanced to the latest version available with vSphere 7.0 when we plan for the vSphere 7.0 upgrade.
